CDA Properties is in search of a highly motivated and self-directed individual who can handle details of managing hundreds of properties and with the vision to grow the company. Currently we are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to support our office management team.
Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant's responsibilities are to communicate effectively with property owners, real estate agents and tenants in a polite and professional manner. As an Administrative Assistant, you will report to the Principal Broker and Office Manager to keep them informed of daily progress and assignments completed.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with property owners, real estate agents, and tenants in a polite and professional manner.
Create accounting reports for property owners, monthly and annually.
Track current lease expirations and ensure collection of rent.
Handle prospective tenant application processing.
Manage tenant maintenance calls
Manage maintenance personnel and schedules.
Develop and maintain tenant relationships.
Be a proactive problem solver who can trouble-shoot issues.
Respond quickly to tenants and owners, manage email and phone.
Scanning and uploading.
Receive Phone Calls
Post vacant homes online
Negotiate with prospective tenants
Assign maintenance to vendors and pay invoices when they arrive
Pay all receivables from vendors and utility companies
Pay some payables
Enter new properties into software
Enter new leases
Proficient in property management software, e.g. Propertyware, Appfolio, Buildium or Yardi.
Two years experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
Experience in Quickbooks, accounts payable/accounts receivable, banking and payroll.
Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to read and understand financial statements.
Proficient in Data entry.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
9am to 5:30pm
Monday through Friday
Paid vacation after 1st year
Currently no benefits offered
